Hi, I’m Samantha šŸ™‹šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Woman in a kitchen wearing a "Caribbean Classics" apron, standing with arms crossed near a wooden cutting board. Fresh produce, including a tomato, chopped vegetables, and leafy greens, are in bowls on the table.

Growing up in Toronto, with my roots firmly planted in Trinidadian soil, my relationship with food took an unexpected turn when food intolerances became a reality for me. Suddenly, foods I'd grown to love became a challenge.

Thankfully, my parents, the original culinary architects of my life, stepped in. They shared their expertise in crafting authentic Trinidadian dishes, like Callaloo, using clean, nourishing ingredients – a delicious solution that not only healed my health, but also sparked something bigger.

Sharing my homemade Callaloo with my Canadian friends was a revelation. Its authentic taste and surprising adaptability to various diets ignited an idea.

I recognized that the demand for genuinely prepared Caribbean food, made with care and without shortcuts, was significant.

That's where Caribbean Classics comes in.

It's the culmination of my personal journey, and a desire to share the dynamic flavours of my heritage with Toronto and the GTA.

We meticulously craft our dishes in small batches, prioritizing quality ingredients and shunning artificial preservatives. It's about delivering a genuine taste of the Caribbean, made with the kind of care and authenticity you'd find in a family kitchen – because that's exactly where it started.
